The 137th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) will be held at the Guangzhou Pazhou International Exhibition Center from April 15 to May 5, 2025, attracting about 31,000 companies to participate in the exhibition
I. Exhibition period and scope of exhibits
Phase I (April 15-19)
Exhibit categories: consumer electronics and information products (such as smart homes, communication equipment), household appliances (kitchen appliances, air conditioners, etc.), industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing (CNC machine tools, industrial robots), auto parts, lighting products, etc.
Newly added special area: The "Service Robot Zone" was set up for the first time to focus on the latest achievements of China's artificial intelligence technology.
Phase II (April 23-27)
Exhibit categories: daily ceramics, home decorations, kitchen utensils, gifts and crafts, building decoration materials, furniture, etc.
Phase III (May 1-5)
Exhibit categories: textiles and clothing (men's and women's clothing, sportswear), footwear, luggage, food, medical and health products, toys, maternity and baby products, etc.
Special exhibition area: Special product exhibition area for rural revitalization, helping the development of local special industries.
2. Exhibition scale and buyers
Exhibitors: About 31,000 companies participated in the exhibition, an increase of nearly 900 from the previous session, covering export exhibitions and import exhibitions.
Overseas buyers: The number of pre-registrations has reached nearly 170,000, and it is expected to continue to maintain the trend of "stable quantity and improved quality".
Import exhibition: Attracting 730 companies from 49 countries and regions to participate in the exhibition, focusing on global high-quality products.
3. Significance and expectations
This Canton Fair is the year when China's "14th Five-Year Plan" comes to an end. It aims to promote trade innovation and high-quality development of foreign trade and help companies explore the international market. By showcasing the achievements of China's manufacturing upgrading (such as smart manufacturing and new energy technologies) and expanding import cooperation, it will further consolidate its influence as the world's largest comprehensive trade fair.
